Methodology

The PRisMA process: 11 steps, 3 stages

The official DOSH workflow, run end to end inside our system. Every step produces a table that appears in your final report.

Stage I

Hazard Identification

Steps 1 – 7
  1. 1 Select the work units and the respondents who represent them
  2. 2 Distribute LEO26 (26 items, three components)
  3. 3 Calculate each individual score per component
  4. 4 Compare against the RICoV value and set individual status
  5. 5 Count the individuals falling in the high-risk band
  6. 6 Calculate the organisational percentage (n/N%)
  7. 7 Determine the organisational risk status
Stage II

Risk Assessment

Steps 8 – 9
  1. 1 Complete EPC23 with the employer — every Yes needs evidence
  2. 2 Map each No against the LEO26 component it fails to control
Stage III

Risk Control

Steps 10 – 11
  1. 1 Build the PRiMA table: every gap grouped under the seven action themes
  2. 2 Set the reassessment date

The three LEO26 components

Each component carries its own individual cut-off value (RICoV) and its own organisational threshold.

JC

Job Control

Control over the job

Items
11 items
Score range
11 – 55
Individual RICoV
≥ 15.5
Organisational threshold
50%

WD

Work Demand

Demands of the job

Items
5 items
Score range
5 – 25
Individual RICoV
≥ 7.5
Organisational threshold
25%

JS

Job Support

Support at work

Items
10 items
Score range
10 – 50
Individual RICoV
≤ 38.5
Organisational threshold
25%

Note: JS runs in the opposite direction. JS items are worded positively (support that is present), so a low score means weak support and high risk.
